How far you place a projector from an interactive whiteboard is dependant upon two things:
  1. The projector itself. Each projector is designed with a specific situation in mind. Therefore it is usually has an optimum distance to be placed from the interactive whiteboard. It may also have features that extends its range and gives it more flexiblity. We don't need to go into these here. The point is simply that the projector itself plays an important part in how close or how far it can be placed from the interactive whiteboard.
2. The size of the interactive whiteboard. Most interactive whiteboards are measured by their diagonal size. Generally speaking, the smaller the whiteboard, the closer you can place the projector, and the larger the whiteboard, the further you have to place the projector.
