PopUp Filter (Ad Blocker) feature
eScan Popup Filter is a dynamic plug-in for browsers like Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera. It blocks all PopUps automatically while offering many more
features.
When eScan Popup Filter is running, it tells your browser to stop all unsolicited windows from opening but does not interfere with your
navigation.
Unlike most pop-up killers, it stops the browser from downloading and showing PopUps so there is no need to wait while a new window appears and
disappears (saves on bandwidth too).
The following gives you an idea of how comprehensive the eScan PopUp Filter is:
White List Not all PopUps are unsolicited. You may need to fill in an on-line registration form, and this is sometimes a popup. In such
cases, you specify the website in the White List.
Test PopUp eScan has the feature of Test PopUp to verify if PopUps in an accessed site are blocked. It opens a web page in the MicroWorld
website where you can test the efficiency of the popup filter. The web page has five different types of PopUps.
Hot key Hot key allows you to assign a key that you keep pressed when you want PopUps enabled temporarily in a page. Click on the hotkey
button and select one of the buttons from the drop-down list.
Audible Notification eScan has a feature where a beep or a sound file is played when a PopUp Ad is detected and blocked.

Block PopUp ads and pretty much everything else
eScan allows system administrators to block PopUp ads, Java applets, scripts, cookies, and content such as images, movies and videos, as well as applications, etc. from an accessed web site.
The feature is found in eScan Content Administrator > Webpage Scanning > Advanced
