Are you still running Windows NT4?
We are able to supply Windows NT4 Workstation OEM and Windows NT Server 4.0.
However, if you are looking at migrating, you may find the following useful.
Migrating from NT4
The most likely migration is from Windows NT Server 4.0 to Windows Server 2003.
There are many advantages to upgrading to, say, Windows Server 2003. Generally speaking, Windows Server 2003 is more secure, more scalable and offers higher performance on recent hardware. According to Microsoft, the increase in performance of Web Server compared with NT4 is 487% or more. With a 184% increase in File Server performance and 540% greater throughput for streaming media, upgrading can make financial sense.
However, there are other factors to consider besides money.
First is the inability of Windows Server 2003 to support some of the older line of business applications. Well, Virtual Server 2005 allows older NT4 applications to be run securely on a Windows Server 2003 box, alongside new ones.
But what about Windows Server 2003's Active Directory? There are fears among many of those that are considering migrating from NT4 that Active Directory can take months, even years to deploy. According to some research, 56% of users will have deployed Active Directory within three months. In fact, a third of those will have deployed Active Directory within a month.
But there is another important point to know about Active Directory. Customers upgrading to Windows Server 2003 don't need to deploy Active Directory. Contrary to popular belief, Active Directory is not an essential element of Windows Server 2003. So, even if you don't deploy Active Directory, you will still see the benefits of improved reliability, availability and scalability by migrating to Windows Server 2003.
