Overview
The Ruby 100" Interactive Whiteboard is in widescreen format (16:9 aspect ratio). You are probably familiar with widescreen format in TVs and some computers that have widescreen displays.
For large interactive whiteboards, such as the Ruby 100", the widescreen format helps you, as the person writing on the board, to easily access the upper part of the board. If the format was the normal (4:? aspect ratio) format, you would probably have to stretch to reach the top part of the board.
The widescreen format also simplifies set up for computers with widescreen display.
Robust and fast, the Ruby Interactive Whiteboard has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible.
Like the SMART Board you can write, erase and perform mouse functions with your finger, a pen or an eraser ? you don't need a special pen with the Ruby Touch Sensitive Interactive Whiteboard.
Modern technology also means it has low power consumption (less than 1.5 watts), which in turn means its green credentials save you money on electricity.
Included in the software is handwriting recognition software (Chinese, English). All you have to do is click on the A icon followed by a pen icon and any letter you write on the interactive whiteboard will be recognised by the software. In the example below the letter a has been written on the board and duplicated by the software in the bordered box.
