When you write on an interactive whiteboard at the same time as a digital projector is projecting an image, your arm will get in the way of the light from the projector and cast a shadow.
You can minimise a shadow almost completely by mounting the projector on the ceiling. This will cast the shadow under your arm instead of behind it. You will need a ceiling mount to connect the digital projector to the ceiling. You will find a range of ceiling mounts in the Product Info box on the right.
If you want to irradiate shadow completely there is a way. Rear projection interactive whiteboards are available. Looking like a large plasma screen with a cabinet, mirrors inside the cabinet project the image onto the screen.
Expect to pay more than twice the price for a rear projection interactive whiteboard when compared with the price of a front projection interactive whiteboard.
